We imported the first GT-R into the UK in December 2007 and it has given us plenty of time to test, work and most important of all play with the ledgendary GT-R. Not only were we the first to import a GT-R into the country, we were also the first to register for use on UK roads, this meant undergoing a number of noise and emission testing allowing us to pass VOSA Euro 4 test standards.

First in Europe to test on the dyno, and surprise surprise we found Nissan had in fact underestimated power figures, we saw 502 bhp, which is 22bhp over factory claimed 480 BHP. We also saw an even more impressive 520bhp using BP Ultimate 102 Unleaded.

First to add an aftermarket exhaust and not just any run of the mill exhaust, we insisted on the very best Sunline Auto GT Titanium, this saw a fantastic response of 30bhp extra with just cat back exhaust and front pipe...and a sweet sound that is unique to Japanese Titanium, increasing the stock 88db to 98 db.

First to reflash the stock ecu. We also reviewed the chassis and suspension set up. We have had our GT-R at a number of the most challenging race tracks in UK; Silverstone, Brands hatch, Donnington, Anglesey and even the infamous Dunsfold Top Gear track on a day out with Mclaren vs their SLR722
